WHO WOULD USE BEAUMOJI?
If a picture is worth a thousand words, an emoji must be worth at least double that. Whether you’re Whatsapping winking faces to your friends or tagging your dinner on Instagram with a cartoon burger
If a picture is worth a thousand words, an emoji must be worth at least double that. Whether you’re Whatsapping winking faces to your friends or tagging your dinner on Instagram with a cartoon burger and fries, emojis let us tell a picture without typing a single letter. But the current keyboard, although wonderful for conveying your feelings about the weather, is lacking in the beauty area. Which is where cosmetics and beauty brand L’Oréal come in – this week, they launched their new “Beaumoji” keyboard, which has every makeup-related emoji you could ever dream of. But who would use such a thing? We can think of a few people…
This style has been spotted on everyone in the past few years, from New York art kids to European footballers. But there’s only one candidate for the best man-bun in the business – Kit Harington, who plays moody Jon Snow in the cult TV show Game of Thrones, rocks his curly mop up top when he’s not filming. The man-bun on Beaumoji is coloured blue – but seeing as his cast mate Maisie Williams (who plays his half-sister Arya on the show) has just dyed her locks a dark navy shade, maybe Kit will follow suit.
The ombre lip is a trend that looks great, but doesn’t seem all that practical for real life – it’s hard enough to eat without messing up your lipstick anyway! One girl who would definitely be using the dark berry ombre lip emoji while texting her friends and sisters is @kyliejenner, who has her own set of Lip Kits you can use to recreate her signature look.
Move over Cara Delevingne – there’s a new eyebrow queen in town. Lily Collins is a worthy successor to the throne, and we can imagine her friends sending her this emoji to tell her so.
There’s nothing we love more than a cheeky facemask selfie – no matter if you’ve got green goo or a Korean infused sheet mask on, you’ve got to snap a pic for your friends. Like us, celebrities can’t resist – we think that serial facemask offender @ladygaga would take great pleasure in using this Beaumoji to supplement her selfies.
